Blood Bank at the Parsee General Hospital is a well
equipped Licensed Blood Bank providing 24 hours services with
stringent protocols as per FDA and SBTC regulations. It caters
to In-patient requisitions as well as requests from other
Hospitals and Nursing Homes.
The Blood Bank has facility for the separation of whole Blood
into Blood Components: Packed Cells. Fresh Frozen Plasma,

helps to save multiple lives through separation of components.

and advances in medical treatments, the need for blood in
Blood cannot be manufactured, thus Blood Banks have to rely
upon voluntary blood donors to ensure an adequate blood supply.
We fulfill our requirement of blood by motivating and encouraging
friends and relatives of patients to come forward and become
Voluntary Blood Donors. We also hold Voluntary Blood Donation
Camps at various locations in the city – Parsi Baugs,
Railway Stations, Schools, Banks, etc.
