It will be observed that the Gross Operating Deficit has gone up from ` 1308.87 lakhs in the previous year to ` 1499.83 lakhs. Year after year, this gap in Operating Income and Operating Expenditure is widening resulting in larger Operating Deficit. It is only because of philanthropic nature of our community which continues to support the Charity care through donations and interest income on corpus funds accumulated over 106 years and nurtured through prudent investments that the Hospital is still sustaining itself.
