The B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital provides Medical services to our less fortunate brethren & Community members for the last 108 years.

 On this happy occasion we would like to inform you that the Hospital has substantial beds for free and highly Subsidized patients. A free patient gets totally free care – be it medicine, all diagnostic facilities (whether available in our Hospital or outside) or even surgery. The cost of medicine to the Free in-patients, & Free and highly subsidized OPD patients during the last financial year was approx. Rs.121.34 Lakhs.  In addition the Hospital spent approx. Rs. 357.83 Lakhs on providing diagnostics & specialized investigation services as also Operation Theatre, Physiotherapy, Blood Bank and Dental services to the Free and subsidized inpatient and OPD Patients. Further, the Hospital spent approx. Rs.182.28 Lakhs during the last financial year on acquisition of new/replacement of high performance equipment for up gradation of Operation Theatre, Intensive Care Unit, Pathlab, Blood Bank, Radiology and Physiotherapy Department which have extended linearity to our Patient Care Capabilities.

The Hospital is able to sustain such a large volume of charity care to the poor only due to the continuing financial support from kind, generous and concerned members of the Community.

The Hospital Management would be grateful if you would share our burden of caring for the sick by donating generously in person, or by post. Your donations, big or small, are greatly valued by us and will be used for the general purpose of the Hospital and in particular for providing medicines and diagnostic services to the poor, upgrading medical equipment or procuring new equipment in our efforts at improving the quality as well as the range of medical services offered. Donations are also welcome to our Corpus Fund, the interest from which helps us to provide charity care to the poor
