Dr. J. N. Sidhva

Dr Jimmy Nadershaw Sidhva is Hon. Senior Radiologist to our Hospital, having served continuously for over 64 years, the longest tenure of any serving Consultant at our Hospital. He graduated from the Seth GS Medical College, winning University Gold Medals in Anatomy, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine & Surgery. He did his post-graduation in Radiology from the U.K. He received the Sarat Kumari Award, for the best Original Research in Radiology, in the year 1970. He was a Founder Member of The World Problem Commission on Neuroradiology in 1960 (the only Asian on this body). He has been Head of Dept of Radiology at the J. J. Hospital. He has been Examiner in Radiology for the Universities of Bombay & Poona & Founder Examiner for M. D. Examination of Bombay University. He introduced C.T. Scanning to Western India. He has authored textbooks on Radiology & C.T. Scanning. In addition, has authored 3 books on the Zarathushtrian Religion & contributed weekly religious articles for 4 years in the Jam-E-Jamshed Newspaper.
